Blue Adonis

Oil on Panel 14″ X 12″

This study is part of a two part exercise inolving painting the same subject twice, firstlywith only ultramarine blue and white, and secondly with only red and white. Red is a lightervalue than ultramarine blue, so the red version has a much more narrow tonal range.
