Still life Drawing Number Three – a Lemon

Still life drawing number three - a lemon

I was against the light on this one because I started it quite late in the day. I didn’t quite get as long on it as I would have liked, the light faded too much for me to be able to differentiate the main tone block safter a while.

But that’s one of the great things about this series of simple little drawings. I hadn’t done any drawing yesterday when I did this, and I knew I only had about an hour of light left. Ordinarily that would have meant waiting until the next day, but these little drawings can be squeezed in any time.

I’m planning to do roughly one a day until the series is finished.
