Eye Drawing Number Four

Eye drawing number four

Fourth in the series, twenty drawings of eyes.

Another one from life, my right eye this time. Its funny how I struggled so much with the eyesthrough all my self-portraits, I could feel myself tensing up as soon as it came to drawing them, buthere there was none of that. Just straight observation.

Its really helping me to overcome my fear of eyes(drawing eyes that is,) by taking them out in isolation like this. I think the eyes I’ve done so farare also the nicest drawings I’ve done to date.

When I showed this one to Michelle she said, “Oh my god, that’s your eye!” which obviously made mepretty happy. Actually it is my eye. I must be getting better.
