Eye Drawing Number Three

Eye drawing number three

Third in the series, twenty drawings of eyes.

This one is drawn from life, its Michelle’s right eye. It took about fifteen to twenty minutes, and she was looking at a fixed point behind me and slightly above her head.

She was a bit disturbed by the big bags under her eyes (sorry petal,) but she’s been working very long hours lately, forthe best part of four months, so its hardly surprising. Even when she’s tired I think she has lovely deepalmond shaped eyes. Not much in the way of eyebrows though.

This drawing came out better than I expected it to. I drew it straight after the first two, which were copies, and expected it to look very weak by comparison, but it holds up fairly well in that stellar company I think.

I have no doubt that her eye will be appearing again, although maybe I’ll do the left one next time, and maybe shewon’t look so tired.
