Portrait Drawing of Michelle – 30th April 2006

Michelle - 30th April 2006

Well it’s about time I drew something apart from my own lumpen physog.

Michelle, on a Sunday, reading. I drew this one with my back to the window, so the light was flat on Michelle, from her side. So the lines are all pretty much even weight.

I think I had about an hour on this one, maybe a touch more. I tried to put some weight on the chair back whereher shoulder is leaning on it. The only bit I really don’t like is the hair, I should have left all thatsquiggly business alone and just outlined the shape.
