My goal is to make sure you make as much progress as you can within the five days and also leave with a clear idea of what to work on next to improve, tailored for you personally.
The main focus will be on colour in still life
To keep it manageable, we’ll be doing small paintings of fruit, this being the best way to learn the techniques I’m going to show you.
What you’ll need to bring
Your own paints, brushes and a glass palette – I’ll send a materials list to attendees.
A Munsell book is NOT required for this, but if you have one do bring it along. My approach to colour is based on Munsell and it can only help if you have one.
Easels, lights, painting medium, panels and still life set ups will be supplied.
The most important thing for you to bring: A willingness to be challenged and to learn a new approach!
Accommodation and meals are not included. We will be in Stroud, a Cotswolds town surrounded by beautiful countryside. Stroud has lots of places to eat, vegans and vegetarians well catered for and accommodation is available locally.
