Description
Making this painting was quite an involved and drawn-out process. Built up with repeated layers of scraping, sanding and glazing it has a depth and luminosity that I’ve never achieved with a more direct painting approach.
It tries to show not just the rose itself, but a response to its complexity and colour. Hopefully, an emotional resonance.
In oils on a 10 x 8 inch panel, varnished and ready to frame.
Delivery: This painting will be packed protected by glassine and bubble wrap and shipped tracked and signed.
