Simplifying form is often overlooked but is one of the most important skills to have in order to create a strong start for a painting.
In this paint-along workshop, I’ll be showing you how I’d approach simplifying the forms of a few subjects into the most important value areas, and making sure the values make sense.
This is an exercise which I’d recommend returning to often in order to develop this important skill.
